Remember SFO is a game you are playing over the internet it is not like you are sitting in your living room playing MvC vs your best friend. You could be playing vs someone in a whole different country, so this creates a delay in the data sent by SFO. We call this lag, there was not good latency setup with SFO's networking functionality so we have to determine when we are bout to hit our opponent or miss them.
Step 1. Watch the PING?
What is ping? That little number that loves to change when the game lags, the lower the better the connection the higher the worse it gets.
So with knowing this what do we do?
Step 2. Predict?
You are not fighting your opponent you are fighting lag, so use that to your advantage, if your opponent is just taking off for a super jump, then he is really behind you already, so what can you do? Dash back?
Step 3. Super?
So its obvious you just realized he is behind you, you dash back, and you start a super, and what happens he stops it, how? Well this is where prediction came in remember when he super jumped, did he really super jump behind you or just straight up?
Step 4. Counter?
Ok lets light punch 3 times, then super jump to the other side and dash forward and hard kick our opponent, then dash back and super. On his screen he may have tryed to super and thinks he hit us, but he really missed and that is when out of no wheres he sees your super.
step 5. Mix it UP?
Do not ever stop moving if you stay still you are a dead target, constantly move.. also change up your moves do not repeat the same pattern it makes you predictable.
Go OWN!
